There might still be snow on the ground, but I’m totally over winter style and I’m slowly, but surely, trying to inject a bit more new season vibes into my wardrobe.
Here are the pieces I’m currently wearing to transition me into the brighter, lighter days…
1 // PLAIN WHITE TEE WITH A TWIST
If you read my other style post earlier this week, you’ll have seen Tobi kindly let me pick some items from their new season. Among them was a classic fave of mine, with a stylish twist. My wardrobe would not be complete without copious amounts of baggy white t-shirts, but I couldn’t resist adding to my collection with this cut out design.
I got the size medium as I like a slightly baggier fit, although it is a little oversized anyway. I’m really fussy with white tshirts (I had material that’s too clingy), but this one drapes perfectly. I’ll be wearing with jeans, but also with leather mini skirts too!

2 // TWEED CHAIN BAG
As soon as I saw the first of the Kensington collection arrive at Kurt Geiger, I knew it was going to have some seriously ‘me’ bags to add to my collection.
I got this tweed version for Christmas and I’ve already got plenty of wear out of it. The gold chain adds a touch of luxe and there’s something Chanel about the design, which is always a good thing.
Tweed has got a special place in my heart and is a great transitional piece, adding some gorgeous texture to my ‘almost spring’ look.

3 // LAYERED NECKLACES
I think it’s probably against the law right now to be a blogger and not have some delicate layered necklaces (only joking), but there’s a reason why so many Instagram faves are rocking the look at the moment.
Brian got me both of these gorgeous pieces for my birthday and Christmas and I love the way they look together. Pack your statement necklaces away and embrace the minimal, yet detailed jewellery instead.

4 // COLOUR POP BOOTS
Living in Scotland, boots are kinda an all-year-round essential, but I love the pop of colour from these Zara boots. I’ll wear with floaty dresses in summer, but I think they give a great nod to new season in this berry shade. I got these ones in the Zara sale for under a tenner, but there’s loads still on the high street at the mo’.

5 // BLEACH WASH JEANS
These are another Zara sale buy from last year and, although I don’t wear them nearly as much as some of my other styles, I think a bleach washed denim is great for something a bit different than the normal skinny jean.
I prefer wearing a baggy jean with a heel and I love the light colour of these as winter can be filled with so much dark denim. I feel it works nice as a date night look, a little bit fancy but also pretty effortless.
