Looking for the best brunch spots in Glasgow city centre?
I got you covered with my brunch loving ways, just add a glass of bubbly and I’m there! Here’s my round up of 5 of my current favourite spots. Roll on the weekend…
1. HUTCHESONS BAR AND BRASSERIE
Surprise! Of course I had to mention Hutchesons, the Bubbles and Brunch deal I always talk about makes my Sunday! Share between two and for £25 per person, you each a delicious brunch dish of your choice (Eggs Royale every time for me, thanks), yummy pastries and a bottle of prosecco to share – with orange juice if you fancy making mimosas. If you feel like being extra fancy, you can upgrade to a bottle of champagne for a little extra too. Bonus points: the marble table makes your brunch flatlay extra Instagram friendly!
2. COTE BRASSERIE
You might remember my review here of the first time I tried Cote Brasserie for the brunch menu and I have went back since. because it was just so good. The chic little brasserie is on West Nile Street so it’s is an ideal location to relax over some delicious brunch dishes, pastries and mimosas (or three bottles of champagne if you’re me and my friends – oops).
3. WILSON ST PANTRY
Located in the Merchant City, Wilson St Pantry not only have a delicious brunch menu, but their chequered floors are so pretty to look at (another Instagram opportunity, of course) – it would be rude not to go. The poached egg dishes are a particular fave and the window seats are perfect to watch the world go by in the city’s stylish Merchant City area.
4. PATISSERIE VALERIE
For a quick, but equally delicious breakfast, Patisserie Valerie does an all day brunch menu with lots of options. I like their Royal Exchange Square location for some pre-shopping brunching – usually followed by one of their amazing cakes because all good brunches need a dessert, no?
5. BILL’S RESTAURANT GLASGOW
Located close to Glasgow Central Station, Bill’s offers their own take on all your breakfast faves. Shout out in particular to their buttermilk pancakes with Bill’s very own pancake syrup. You can indulge in brunch until midday Monday to Friday and 1pm on the weekends so plenty of delicious breakfast time. Plus, they have gluten free options too.
