If I had to choose between spending my last £20 on make-up or clothes, I admit I would usually have chosen the latter.
I’m never going to be an expert on make-up (I leave that to my beauty obsessed sister whose make-up drawers look like the Superdrug stockroom), but I’ve found a beauty look which suits me and my routine. I thought I’d share my favourite products at the moment, including some amazing dupes and budget beauty products.

FACE
Soleil de Tan CHANEL (£36)
If you buy one thing from all these products, make it this Chanel bronzer. I’ve never came across anything like it and it’s worth every single penny. Perfect for fake tan lovers too!
Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick in Bronze (£35)
I use this all year round for a little shimmer and it lasts such a long time too. Perfect for those who wear fake tan to add a little colour.
Smashbox Studio Skin Foundation in 2.15 (£29)
I’m trying to stay away from Estee Lauder Doublewear so decided to try out Smashbox after being impressed by their famous primer. This shade is perfect if, like me, you wear fake tan most days. It lasts all day and gives great coverage.
Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in Shade 2 (£3.99)
This is a cult budget product in many MUA’s kits – it gives amazing coverage and could rival many of it’s way more expensive competitors. I’ve been buying this product for years and always go back again and again.
Urban Decay ‘All Nighter’ long lasting make up setting spray (£23.50)
Like hairspray for your makeup, this dreamy product is worth the hype! Great for long days or a night out. You can also get it in a travel size for £10 if you want to try it out first.
Makeup Revolution Strobe Highlighter in Radiant Light (£3 )
I’m not the most confident in my highlighting abilities so I decided to try out a cheaper version – and I love this! Amazing price too.
Sleek Makeup Face Contour Kit (£7)
I’m not one for too much of a contour, but this dupe gives a nice natural finish and is an amazing price.

EYES + BROWS
Kiko Cosmetics Water Eyeshadow in Burgandy 203 + in Grapefruit Pink 218 (£8.90 each)
Kiko have made a welcomed arrival on the Scottish high street with so many great quality products as a budget friendly price. The 218 shade is a perfect match to Nars’ Orgasm shadow at less than half the price.
Sleek Makeup Brow Kit in Medium (£8.50)
I’ve been so impressed with this little brow kit, complete with two brushes and tweezers – the colour is perfect for my natural hair colour.
Kiko Cosmetics gel eyeliner (£8.90)
Another Kiko fave, I prefer this to many more expensive gel pots (including Bobbi Brown and Mac). I use a Morphe brush as it comes without a brush.
Rimmel Brow Pencil in Dark Brown (£2.99)
Good old Rimmel saving the day with their brow pencils. I find it easier to first achieve the brow shape with this before using the Sleek brow kit.
Urban Decay ‘Original’ eyeshadow primer potion (£17)
This is actually a sample size I got in a palette (Naked 2, I think) and I’ll 100% buy the full size version. You only need the most tiny amount so it lasts for a long time.
Guerlain Maxi Lash So Volume Mascara (£26)
You might remember from my original review here, but this is still my all-time lash go-to.
LIPS
Bobbi Brown Matte Art Stick in Brown Berry (£21.50)
I got this as part of a Christmas gift and my mum picked so well – it’s a perfect colour for me! I’m so impressed with how it glides on and I use it to over-line ever so slightly.
Mac Cosmetics Matte Lipstick in Matte Honey Love (£16.50)
I love the MUA lipstick I included here, but obvs I still love a good Mac lippie. I think this sells out quite a lot and I can see why – such a lovely nude colour.
OTHER BITS + PIECES
‘In The Bag’ pouch bag (£16.99) Katie Loxton
I’ve got a bigger make-up bag which fits everything, but I’m going to start using this Katie Loxton pouch to take essentials in my handbag.
Rose gold eyelash curlers (£1.50) Primark
I do love a little rose gold and these are a great bargain for under £2. Top marks, Primark!
You’ll have seen in my Christmas gift guide the love for these brushes. They seem to sell out a lot, but if you can find them I’d so recommend.
Dior Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet Eau de Toilette (from £41.50)
Another Christimas present, I am obsessed by this perfume. It’s a great handbag size and smells so good – and how pretty is that bottle?!
Kiko Nail Lacquer in 303 Beige Chrome (£2.50)
I always like to keep a nail varnish with me and this metallic shade is so effective. Two coats and you have a lovely chrome effect, I’ll be wearing it with a tan come summer.
This is not a sponsored post + all products were purchased by me.
