let’s go shopping

Just Peachy

You might have noticed by now that I love a full length duster coat, I just love the way it creates some drama to a simple jeans and tshirt.

I’ve been on the lookout for the perfect peachy pink duster coat for a while now. I had bought a New Look one which was lovely, but was more a baby pink and I knew I wouldnt wear the colour enough. When I saw this peachy style on Missguided, I had to have it and ordered it in the size 8 and 10 to see which fitted better, I never like a too tight fit but the 8 was true to size and sat perfectly. This is my favourite colour, it really warms up my skin tone. It is also a nicer material than I thought it might be which is a bonus unlike some other versions on the high street.
I wore this outfit to Bubbles and Brunch with two of my favourite ladies, Yasmin (The Girl with the Big Hair) and Victoria (Victoria M Style and owner/girl boss of The Lifestyle Lab) at Hutchesons a few weeks ago. It was an ideal Sunday brunching outfit and the brunch itself was the perfect way to spend a Sunday – we loved it so much we stayed for 7 hours! We had prosecco, we had cocktails – and we had a whole lot of chatting about some pretty exciting plans, so exciting infact I managed to spill prosecco over myself (cue massive panic from me on the wellbeing of my new coat and white jeans combo). Such a long day meant I was so happy I chose to wear these Topshop block heels, they are super comfy and never go out of style – I’ve had them for 4 years now after some of my lovely friends got me them for my 20th birthday.

I would love to hear what you think of the outfit. Are you a fan of duster coats?
