let’s go shopping

Ripped Denim Daytime

Ripped skinny jeans and a nice blazer are pretty much my wardrobe staples. Add a heeled boot to the mix, and you have my day-to-day outfit sorted.

After my Armani post with the oh-so-talented Kris J Cummins making my photos look a-mazing, I feel at a bit of a loss that he is currently away. I love doing street style posts, it’s something I really want to do lots more of but never want to just throw up any outfit post when the images aren’t what I want them to be. It’s been a bit of a constant argument with myself; do I continue to do posts shot by my family/boyfriend or do I wait for Kris’ return, giving my images that step up?!

I decided to compromise; I found an outfit I feel great in that I felt photographed well to share with you until my next photoshoot with Kris. This little jacket is actually from Primark, I’ve hardly had it off since I bought it in the Argyle Street store last week. I’ve also been pretty much living in these Zara skinnys, they are so comfortable and I love lighter toned denim for spring. I think when you are wearing pattern in one garment, a toned down look goes best so a simple grey t-shirt and one of my favourite cream mock-croc bags were perfect. Heeled boots always make me feel a bit more ‘put together’ and these little peep-toe booties are a bit more summertime with their lighter colour.

I would love to know what you think, of the outfit and my decision to go ahead with the street style post!
