Hunted Vintage SS16

One of the reasons I love the Scottish fashion scene so much is there is so much diversity. From high end luxury to one-off indie stores, there is something for everyone.
That’s why, when I heard about Hunted Vintage I was so excited. I like to mix up my wardrobe, including bargain basics, designer accessories – and I am seriously partial to a vintage addition. There is something quite exhilarating about getting your hands on a one-off piece that no one else will have, like a style achievement.
Back to Hunted Vintage, it was founded last year by the uber-stylish Nicole Perry. The social media hype around the brand has been evident since day one, but it was the new SS16 collection which really created a major buzz. Holding the official collection launch at The Poetry Club in Glasgow, I could not wait to see the carefully sourced vintage finds in person. The launch reflected the brand too; original and a little quirky. There was a cute prosecco bar, plenty of yummy doughnuts – and some amazing statement pieces. I love the leopard print bodysuits, perfect under a pair of vintage Levi’s or an amazing pleated skirt.
I couldn’t resist sharing the campaign images, all shot right here in Glasgow by Ellie Morag and styled by Scottish stylist Kayleigh Swan. I think this is the start of something big for Hunted Vintage. Well it will be if their SS16 launch is anything to go by, the site actually crashed because so many people were on trying to shop! Not to worry, you can get on now to find your new vintage wardrobe additions – so easy to let them to the vintage hunting for you! Shop now at www.huntedvintage.com.
