Khaki Summer Nights

I’ve been so awful at managing to get outfit pictures shot recently so I’m going to keep this short and sweet to allow myself more time today to hopefully get this blog in order!
I sometimes feel like I lose the thread a little on the blog, especially perfecting pictures. I find myself comparing the quality of my images and content to other massive bloggers which is a little bit silly and just puts unneeded pressure on myself. I actually shot these pictures a few weeks ago, then pretty much critiqued them everytime I looked at them. I have also put off posting them as I felt the weather just kept changing to horrible and rainy and I quite like having my outfits reflect how to dress in the current weather, but it is just too unpredictable in Scotland to do this!
Anyway, here we have it. I find this quite a nice night look for the sort of summer nights we’re having. I practically live in cut off denim shorts on holiday, but I think teaming them with a blouse and a statement sandal, you can get away with wearing this outfit for drinks out in Glasgow, just add a denim or leather jacket if it’s a little cooler. I really live by the whole less is more thing, a belt and a tassel handbag is enough accessory for the one outfit, I think. This khaki top is actually a dress which I wore on my Instagram recently, but I love to just tuck it into jeans or shorts to create a silky blouse instead, it just creates another outfit too.
I would love to hear what you think so do leave a little comment or Tweet me @rachellawler_. Have a great weekend!

I know how you feel chick, I struggle to get photos due to a full time job and then when I do I look st them and think they're not good enough. These are great shots, love that dress, using a dress as a blouse means no untucking I find
